Worldwide Webinar Series:

Impact of Modeling & Simulation in Drug Development

Rosa’s Worldwide Webinar Series fosters the adoption of modeling and simulation by informing a broad audience about the strategic impact it can have on all aspects of research and development.

Since its inception in 2011, this complimentary monthly series has featured select speakers from academia, industry, Rosa client companies, and Rosa itself. The series has drawn many thousands of attendees worldwide from all drug development disciplines.

Robin Haid
Robin Haid is a third-year PhD student at Bayer’s Preclinical Modeling & Simulation subcluster, focusing on the PK/PD modeling of targeted protein degraders (TPDs). His aim is to integrate the experimental data that is routinely generated in drug discovery to arrive at a profound understanding that propels projects forward. Robin studied Pharmaceutical Sciences at ETH Zurich in Switzerland, where he graduated at the top of the 2023 class. His award-winning work on predictive PK/PD modelling of degraders was published in two articles and he has been featured as a speaker at several international conferences, most recently at PAGE in Rome.

Sophie Fischer-Holzhausen, PhD, Scientist Systems Pharmacology, ESQlabs GmbH
Sophie is a scientist specializing in systems pharmacology. She earned her PhD in
Computational Systems Pharmacology from the University of Bergen, Norway, in May
2023, following her Master's in Biophysics from Humboldt University, Berlin. Currently,
she works at ESQlabs as Scientist Systems Pharmacology. Here, her projects mainly
focus on pregnancy PBPK modeling, reflecting her commitment to contribute to
improving maternal and fetal health care. Before this, she gained valuable experience
as a pharmacometrician at AstraZeneca. Sophie's expertise lies in integrating
mathematical models with physiological knowledge and pharmacological data. She is
driven by a keen interest in women's health.
