Predicting Tissue Distribution and Clearance of Large Molecules to Improve Selectivity of Targeted Therapies

Understanding the pharmacokinetics of large molecules is critical to guide their preclinical and clinical development. While we often have a good understanding of the pharmacokinetics of large molecules in the blood, we still have very little knowledge about their distribution and clearance in tissues. In this talk, we will highlight remaining open questions towards applying large-molecule PBPK models to optimize the design of large molecules and we will present our new findings about concentration as well as clearances of large molecules in different tissues.
