Quantitative Systems Pharmacology at Pfizer: A Paradigm Shift to Improve the Probability of Successful Proof of Concept Studies

Quantitative Systems Pharmacology (QSP) promises to improve the probability of Phase II success quantitatively and predictively linking target modulation to disease modification. In this seminar, we will discuss benefits and challenges to QSP implementation, present case studies demonstrating areas of success and areas for improvement, and introduce an integration paradigm recently implemented at Pfizer that is showing promise to increase the probability of successful Proof of Concept (Phase II) studies.
